Zhongli as the hinge, with Venti and Xiao as the two most important people in his life.

He's loved and admired Xiao ever since the archon war but that was no time for a relationship. Venti came to him afterwards for drink and friendship and a taste of what it's like to be free, as Zhongli listens to Venti talk about how the people of Mondstadt love each other no matter race sex or number of people, there's always love to go around. So when Venti asks to be his boyfriend and Zhongli realizes he is now free to do so...he remembers how much he loves Xiao as well and asks if he can date them both. Of course, Venti responds because he too is full of love and what's better than Zhongli being loved by one person? Zhongli being loved by two people! But at the same time Zhongli is aware that while Xiao is also happy for him, Xiao himself has little interest in Venti and Venti also doesn't quite want to get into what's going on between Zhongli and Xiao so Zhongli keeps the two relationships separate. He makes time for both his boyfriends, and makes sure to always focus on the current relationship during their dates. Xiao may be the one he spends more time with due to both of them keeping Liyue safe, but he always makes sure to take trips to Mondstadt to show Venti how much he loves him, and makes time and space in Liyue for when Venti wants to visit. It's a balancing act but one that is worth it to dedicate his life to both of those who he loves

Zhongvenxiao but as a polyamourous V instead of a triad

Venti as the hinge because he has so much love for everyone! He lives and he loves and he falls in love. Zhongli who's always known that about Venti and they go way back, have been together for hundreds of years while Venti watches humans come and go falling in love with everyone he meets and pours all that love for life and humanity back into his relationship with Zhongli. Venti who one day while playing his dizi in Liyue, sees this Yaksha fighting with everything he's got for humanity, and falls in love once again. Zhongli who knows how much love Venti holds and while it's a big change to their relationship of hundreds of years, their mutual trust is solid as stone and Venti continues to shows just as much love to Zhongli as he always did when he and Xiao start dating too (and Zhongli cannot be happier for them, he knows them both well and knows they're good for each other the way he and Venti are good for each other. He and Xiao remain close friends but they both have their own separate relationship with their mutal partner) and Venti can't be happier he has so much love for both of his boyfriends
